We Flew Commercial..

Recently, our Agent for Service, took a commercial flight to Boston; giving us a chance to experience air travel from a different perspective — a passenger.

As a company that helps people get where they’re going more comfortably and efficiently, it was interesting to be on the other side of the journey. I wasn’t planning a flight, coordinating logistics, or helping someone else get to their destination — I was simply a passenger enjoying the trip.

I loved Boston. The city was full of history, great food, beautiful views, and plenty to explore. From walking Faneuil Hall Marketplace to taking in a ballgame at Fenway Park— there was something memorable around every corner but those are stories for another time. Overall, it was the kind of trip that reminds you why traveling is so important — getting away, making memories, and experiencing new places.

But the trip also reminded me of something we already know well: your time is valuable.

Flying commercial works for millions of travelers every day, but there are parts of the experience that can take away from the excitement of the trip. Getting to the airport hours early, waiting in security lines, navigating crowded terminals, working around airline schedules, and spending extra time traveling to and from major airports all add up.

That’s where private aviation creates a different kind of experience.

For families, business travelers, and anyone with a busy schedule, those extra hours can make a big difference. More time at your destination means more time doing the things you actually traveled for.

My trip to Boston was a great reminder that the journey is part of the experience.

A 2 a.m. wake-up, leaving the house by 3 a.m., arriving at the airport at 4 a.m., and somehow still hearing the boarding announcement while gathering my belongings after security — all for a flight that wasn’t scheduled to leave until 6 a.m.

It was a small reminder of how much time and energy can go into simply getting to your destination.

The way you travel can shape how you feel when you arrive — whether you’re starting a vacation, heading to an important meeting, or making memories with the people who matter most.

At Barefoot Air Charters, we believe flying should be about more than just getting from one place to another. It should be about making the entire experience better.

From coastline to island time, we’re here to make the journey part of the adventure.
